About Nammyfit

I’m a 45-year-young mother, writer, dreamer, fitness enthusiast and yes, an economist too.

NammyFit didn’t begin as a brand or a plan. It started as a place to think out loud. For a long time, I hesitated to make it public. Thoughts like who would want to read this, what if people judge, what if I’m not good enough held me back. With time and lived experience, those questions lost their power. I realized something simple but important. Sharing isn’t about validation. It’s about connection. And sometimes, it’s about permission, for ourselves and for others. And so, I chose to share.

Like most women I know, I juggle roles every day. I’m a mother to twins, manage a home, and work full-time. I help build and grow Inovaare Corporation, a healthcare technology platform, where my work sits at the intersection of strategy, content, and business impact. Earlier in my career, I worked as a management consultant with global organizations, including one of the Big4. I’m an economist by vocation, pursued and stepped away from a PhD in Strategy due to funding constraints, and a student of psychology by deep personal interest. Observing human behavior, especially women’s inner worlds, shapes both my writing and my work.

Fitness and nutrition are not side interests for me. They are anchors. I’m a certified lifestyle and weight management coach, a nutrition guide, and a kids’ nutrition specialist. I work with people to build a healthier, more sustainable relationship with food, movement, and their bodies, without guilt, extremes, or quick fixes.

I also consult 1-on-1 for postpartum fitness, fat loss, and general health. If you want to work with me, drop an email to nammyfit@gmail.com

Moving from Delhi to Bhubaneswar years ago slowed me down in the best way. It gave me perspective, space, and the clarity to choose what genuinely adds value to my life.

This blog isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about being honest while figuring it out. I’m imperfect. I’ve failed at diets (I still do). I give in to cravings. I have stretch marks, cellulite, doubts, and big dreams. I also have resilience, curiosity, and the courage to keep choosing myself, again and again.

I also create digital resources for women who want to pause, reflect, and reset without pressure or perfection. Through Purpllewave, I share guided journals, self-growth eBooks, workbooks, and reflection tools designed to help women navigating change, identity shifts, confidence, and self-worth, especially in midlife.

You can explore and buy these digital resources at purpllewave.com.
They’re meant to be used quietly, at your own pace, in your own time.

The mantra of my life is Be your own hero.
It’s a reminder to choose myself daily and to show up for myself, especially on the days it feels hardest.

If something here resonates, you’re not alone. This space is for women navigating work, motherhood, relationships, health, ambition, exhaustion, reinvention, and everything in between. It’s for women learning that becoming themselves isn’t selfish. It’s growth.

Cheers!

Namrata
